Craig Hughes | Director of Operations

Craig Hughes is the Director of Operations at Hightower Texas. In 2015, Craig joined Salient as part of their fund accounting department. He was responsible for the accounting, financial reporting and operations for Salient’s investment products before Salient’s private wealth management business was acquired by Hightower, becoming Hightower Texas in 2018. Craig previously worked at Citi Fund Services, where he spent a decade contributing to their hedge fund administration group.

At first, he had no plans to work in finance as he instead wanted to become a teacher. But since entering the industry and gaining new skills, his passions have realigned. Craig loves to travel. He spent a week driving across Ireland and hopes to one day own a house in the English countryside.

Craig earned his undergraduate degree in business administration from Bluffton University and a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Ashland University.
